Coyo Destini (Full
Accoyo)
Coyo was imported in utero from the world famous accoyo herd
of Don Julio Barreda. His dam, Caliente, was recently
retired from production in the fine herd of Timberland
Alpacas in Oregon. Coyo was purchased by the family of
Kristen Buhrmann a respected and well known alpaca judge and
used in their high quality breeding program at Mountain
Meadows Ranch in Alberta, Canada. We are now extremely proud
to have partnered with Calidad Alpacas of New York and
Burgis Brook Alpacas of Connecticut in co-ownership of this
incredible male.

Coyo Destini truly represents some rare accoyo genetics as
his unknown sire remained in Peru. With about 100 cria on
the ground we know that this boy is proven and prepotent.
Coyo Destini himself won championships when shown and many
of his offspring are champions. The ribbons and show wins
are nice but mean nothing if a male can not be proven to get
the job done genetically. His cria have been consistent in
their high quality and he improves on all the females he is
bred to as well as himself! It doesn't get much better than
this! We have our first Coyo Destini cria arriving in
April of 2006 and are extremely anxious as we know what he
can do. Check out Super Sam at highplainsalpacas.com. Coyo
Destini is proven and when making your breeding decisions
for 2006 consider this male for predictable high quality
results.
Book your 2006 breeding now- an investment in the
quality of your herd. At 3,000.00, Coyo Destini's stud fee
remains very reasonable for a male that has already been
proven to consistently produce wonderful offspring.
What former owner and respected alpaca judge Kristen Buhrnam
had to say: "We had great success with Coyo Destini's
offspring- excellent quality, and excellent fiber. Overall I
would say he consistently outproduced himself and always
improved on the quality of the female he was bred to."

Sugar Ray (Fine
and Dense)
Gorgeous son of Chase Tavern Farms Evander. Sugar Ray is
growing up to look just like Dad and we expect great things
from him in the future. He is fine, dense and even, with a
bright crimpy fleece. Superb conformation and the stunning
head that Evander has become known for. Sugar Ray's first
cria did not disapoint us! He is a gorgeous little guy and
we are very proud of him.
 Update-
Sugar Cane, Sugar Ray's first cria just placed 1st in a
class of 14 at the 2006 NAAS. Sugar Ray's 2nd cria, Cochise,
pictured at right is a gorgeous young male owned by Oakhill
Alopacas. He is strong in body type, has beautiful character
to his fleece, long staple, wonderful head and is very,
very, soft. Sugar Ray is two for two! Sugar Ray's sire,
Evander has produced consistently uniform and high quality
cria and we have high hopes that Sugar Ray can do the same.
While we were showing him he consistently placed, but it is
important to remember that show placings do not guarantee
anything. Champion males may never produce consistently
while males that place lower or not at all may have the
ability to produce consistent quality and that is what we
are looking for in our males- consistency and predictability
in their progeny. There are several cria expected in 2006
and we would like several more in 2007- so book a breeding
today! Sugar Ray is now proudly co-owned with Keith and Kim
Quirion of K&K Alpacas.
